GT/76 Bandy proudly presents the Youth Stars Cup (YSC) – a Nordic bandy tournament for U14 players (born 2012) from across the Nordic region.
🌟 About the Tournament
Join us for an unforgettable weekend of bandy, fun, and friendship! The Youth Stars Cup brings together teams from all over the Nordics to compete, connect, and create memories. Expect exciting matches, fair play, and the chance to meet new friends from different countries.
🏒 Tournament Format
- Game Format: 9 vs 9
- Match Time: 2 x 20 minutes (Playoffs: 2 x 25 minutes)
- Teams: 8–10 teams in two groups
- Playoffs: All teams participate in level-based playoffs
- Awards: Trophy for the winner, medals for 1st–3rd place
- Note: Format may adjust based on team count and ice availability

💰 Fees
- Team Registration: 4000 SEK/team
- Participant Fee (incl. leaders):
- HP (Hotel + Meals): 1900 SEK/person
- EM (Meals Only): 600 SEK/person

- Stay at Motel L Älvsjö (shared triple rooms, 2 nights)
- Includes hotel breakfast, lunch (Sat–Sun), and dinner (Fri–Sat) at the Bandy Hall
EM – Meals Only
- Includes lunch (Sat–Sun) and dinner (Fri–Sat) at the Bandy Hall

- Participation Fee Deadline: December 4, 2026
- Cancellation Policy:
- Before Jan 4, 2026: 50% refund
- After Jan 4: Refund only with medical certificate (50%)
Note: Registration is binding. Hotel bookings are confirmed only after registration fee is paid.
📜 Match Rules
- Format: 9 vs 9, 2x20 min (2x25 min in playoffs)
- No time-outs, unlimited substitutions
- Late arrival: 5+ min = walkover (3–0)
- Penalties: 6 or 3 minutes (referee’s decision)
- Points: Win = 2, Draw = 1
- Tiebreakers:
- Head-to-head
- Goal difference
- Most goals scored
- Drawing lots
- Playoff ties: Penalty shootout (3 per team, then sudden death)
- Other rules:
- No on-ice warm-up
- Skate sharpening in designated room
- Protest fee: 800 SEK (refunded if upheld)
- Match times may change—teams must stay updated
- Governed by Swedish Bandy Federation rules
🧾 Player Eligibility & Exemptions
- Players may turn 14 during 2026
- Exemptions for older players must be approved 2 weeks before the tournament
- Exempt players must not dominate play
- Girls may be 1 year older and are not subject to the above rule
